2014/15 'Back to Back' Premiership players, Jordan Doering and Matt Elliott have been announced as joint Senior coaches for the 2016 season.
Jordan Doering played 18 games with AFL club Carlton after being drafted there in 1997. He has since played with VFL clubs the Tasmanian Devils and the Bendigo Bombers. He then played for Strathmore in the Essendon and District Football League before being recruited to play for the Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers in 2014. Jordan was the leading goalkicker in the Mallee Football League in 2015 finishing the season with 82 goals. Jordan's past experience makes him an extremely valuable addition to our coaching staff in season 2016.
Local lad Matt Elliott has played over 100 games with his home club the Tigers. An excellent utility player Matt comes under notice for his vigourous contesting of the ball. A strong and committed player, Matt received the Best on Ground medal at the 2016 Mallee Football League Grand Final. Matt has previously coached our Under 16's to three final series. He has a great understanding of the game and will bring a high level of enthusiasm to this role.
The Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers Football Netball Club look forward to a new era joining the North Central Football League in 2016 and we congratulate Jordan and Matt on their appointment as joint coaches!
